Article on Kosovo in magazine
An article was published on our trip from Kosovo back to Finland in a Finnish magazine called Tuulilasi in June of 2006. We drove a friend's car through Europe in November 2005 after our peacekeeping mission ended. There's some good basic information on the situation in Kosovo and peacekeeping in the article. Mid-Summer Festival
One of the summer highlights in Finland, mid-summer (Juhannus), is done and over again. This time the venue was a real authentic festival called Raumanmeren Juhannus. Quite something else than the traditional weekend at the summer cottage! Two days of festival fun under the sun! Pictures are in the photo gallery.

Stockholm marathon completed
The Stockholm Marathon was run on the 3rd of June 2006 and I managed to complete the 42,2 kilometre course in 3 hours and 38 minutes, which placed me as runner 1978 out of 17,429 runners. I've never felt so exhausted after a marathon before! The atmosphere was great with lots of spectators and great views - in the few moments that I had time to look around. This was my third marathon and maybe the last... but how knows, I might try another some day.

Pictures from Spanish wedding
The wedding celebration and week in Fuengirola, Spain was fantastic - to say the least. Pretty multilingual and multinational experience - especially being the bestman. Alltogether a great week!
